Cost: 2 for SGD$3.95. Unlike the other cookies that is filled with chocolate chips, this is filled with white chocolate chips. YUMMY!

Some of the cookies that were left over from Eid-Al-Fitr, the Muslim holy month.

On the upper left-hand corner are peanuts and banana chips. In the middle are kueh makmur, it has peanut fillings and my most favourite kueh. I will order this from a friend during the Chinese New Year. My brother and me can devour half a tin in a sitting. On the right, are pineapple tarts, it has a biscuit-like base and on top are the pineapple paste, the paste is quite difficult to make, you have to shred the pineapple finely, fry it with brown sugar and cinnamon. But you can get this paste ready-made at most supermarkets now.

Just For The Fun Of It
You can stop deciphering this now. It's curry puffs and doughnuts. Doughnuts were soggy due to the sugar and the curry puffs were salty. I much prefer the nasi lemak in my previous post. (i bought these two items from the nasi lemak stall).

Why did I photograph my sandals? Well, when I bought this my brother told me it was actually a kids' sandals from Nike but it was comfy and one of the best sandals I had ever worn, so I bought it anyhow.

  Ok...So I was wrong...about my card reader.

So I am a glutton, I eat first before I photo. Apologies if you find it unsightly. I had the salmon teriyaki, the person with me had its fried salmon bento set. I ordered Chuka Hotata, Salmom Tataki (sp?) and tori karagage (sp?) a la carte.

From the same restaurant, I ordered its dessert. Green tea ice-cream with boiled glutinous rice ball with red bean paste. Heavenly. This I remember to photograph it before I eat.

Famous fast-food restaurant offering pseudo-Japanese food. Limp pieces of vegetables and chicken meat. Too much pepper. Fries too salty. Service was good but felt that the food could have been better. It's good they only try this once a year. I would stick with their more traditional offerings instead of this.

Ok so I am not food but am trying the new features of my camera. So there.

One of the best Nasi Lemak I have tasted ever. It's chilli is simply to die for and it costs only SGD$1. Its contents include: coconut-infused rice, cucumber, fish ball, peanuts and fish. Thinking of its chilli just makes my mouth water.

So My Card Reader Has Gone Nuts On Me
Alrite. I wanted to post pictures of my weekend. But my card reader does not work on this computer. So I have to postpone this. Kindly check back on Wednesday.

  This New Morning
This is me. Yes me. Hiding behind a file. Trying to look pensive but not succeeding.

Have a good thing to share with you. I have this routine where I patronise the 7-11 at my workplace every morning. I was there this one morning when the person in front of me was like buying 8 cups of coffee. He saw me waiting and turned and apologised and smiled. Later he at the cashier he was in front of me but when he saw me, let me go to the front to pay for my purchases. A wonderful start to a rainy morning. He was sweet. Hope I bumped into him again. (finger crossed)

Shhh....Future author at work. Authour will de-crypt his writings when he reaches ten. In the mean time, we will await this future masterpiece.

His work will make the world weak at its knees, it'll be life-changing experience. Woohoo.

One of my lunches a couple of days ago. A warm cup of hot soya milk and popiah which costs $2 and hardly worth it. I ate it anway and will probably go for more. I like to eat lightly for lunch and you won't see me eating rice, noodles or such but I do enjoy my nasi lemak for breakfast once in a long while.

  The Ball rolling In
'Nuff said. Humanoids that come in a box. The perfect Christmas present.

Had on-and-off coughing. GPs did not help. Went to see specialist today and was prescribed with these. Was told that if my cough does not subside after 5 days. I must be x-rayed. Woohoo.

  My first

A shout out to everyone I know. I had decided to start this blog. My previous blogs had been well...unbecoming and nasty. What had I become? Monster? Neanthedal? As you know neanthedals became extinct and homo sapiens thrived although I am having seconds thoughts about the latter but I digress.

This will be a happy blog, full of mundane-ness. Some may find it boring but hey...you can always go to other blogs.

We read about evil everyday, bombs blowing and the weather's gone mad.

I am going to blog about the generosity of people of whom I have the honour of being at the receiving end and it's not about material and monetary matters. This generosity will be kind gestures, that simple smile, that joke they shared, that kind gentleman who let me have the seat in the MRT in front of him that just became vacant and all that.

Yes...this is the time for the daze of my life.

First to begin the mundane let me introduce to you my breakfast and lunch for these two days. Hahahaha which appears at the top. I will try and figure out how to post it within the texts. SO there........

The mess on the table at the first pic is food that I bought from Johor. The second pic is almond paste, I had been having probs with my throat. The third is my breakfast for the 22nd November. The fourth is my breakfast from the 24th Nov
